Co-living startup Common set out to build a better way for young people to afford living comfortably in big cities. We were tasked with educating our audience on the benefit of an unfamiliar business model, while also distancing the company from the perception of traditional real estate firms.
As the senior designer on the team, I extended and refreshed the existing Common brand and led its rollout across the organization, working with external vendors and our internal design team to bring assets to life. Outputs included a refreshed color palette, brand guidelines and standards, large-scale OOH advertising, and a portfolio-wide signage and wayfinding system.
